Giles Blundell
MANAGING DIRECTOR
After earning a BSc in Insurance and Investment from City University, London, Giles began his investment banking career with HSBC Investment Bank in the Equity Derivatives team, where he focused on listed and OTC derivatives.
After three years at HSBC, he joined Bear Stearns, where he spent the next decade helping to build the European Hedge Fund Sales business, specialising in risk arbitrage and event-driven strategies.
Upon leaving Bear Stearns as a Managing Director, Giles moved to Dubai to establish an equities business for a leading local brokerage firm. During this time, while recruiting for the business he was building, Giles recognised a widespread lack of technical expertise within many financial search firms. This realisation led him to co-found Capital Search in 2009. Since then, the firm has grown consistently year after year, with Giles now overseeing senior-level placements and specializing in the Treasury and Capital Markets sectors.

Charles Francis
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Charles was born and educated in the UK and has over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He began his career at Barclay De Zoete Wedd (BZW) in London in 1997, which evolved into Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and then Credit Suisse, where he spent 12 years as an Equity trader. He was an Equity trader in the pan-European trading team trading on behalf of clients as well as managing a $200m proprietary trading book. He has extensive knowledge of a variety of sectors including Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and support services .
In 2008, Charles joined Libertas Capital in Dubai to expand their corporate finance business into an institutional brokerage.
In 2009 Charles co-founded Capital Search, and operates across Asia Pacific. Charles has established strong relationships in global markets, particularly in London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and focuses on the Buy Side and asset managers across APAC.
